About

This is a band that I never know what I am going to get next and I know I will want to hear more of it!

The Ruffolos are a high-energy ska-punk band hailing from Southern California, known for their infectious sound, unforgettable live shows, and ever-evolving presence in the local and regional music scene. Originally formed as a three-piece in 2017, the band quickly gained attention with the release of three EPs and a full-length album that climbed into the Top 3 on the iTunes Reggae Albums Chart.

Over time, The Ruffolos expanded into a dynamic eight-piece powerhouse featuring keys, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, drums, bass, guitar, and dual vocalists. This fuller lineup brought new depth and energy to their music, making their performances both musically rich and visually electric. While their earlier EPs and debut album remain available on Bandcamp, the band has since revamped their online presence to showcase their current sound and lineup.

Renowned for their lively and engaging stage presence, The Ruffolos have grown from local dive bar residencies to selling out well-known venues across California. Their resume includes sold-out shows at The Glass House, Garden Amp (twice), and The Paramount LA, as well as performances at House of Blues Anaheim and San Diego, The Observatory OC, Sealegs at the Beach, and Party on Pine, among others. Whether performing at public venues or private events, The Ruffolos consistently deliver a set that keeps the party going for audiences of all ages.

Their universal appeal has earned them direct support slots for major acts including Save Ferris, The Expanders, Perro Bravo (of Skunk Records), Suburban Legends, The Aggrolites, Craig’s Brother, and Five Iron Frenzy. In 2023, they were featured on “Sound The Alarm,” a collaboration with Louser, which gained over 39K views on YouTube. That same year, they topped Ska Parade’s Top 50 Songs of 2021 with a fan-favorite track.

2024 marked the recording of their first live album, Live at Transplants, captured at their performance supporting The Aggrolites in Palmdale, CA. This was followed by the release of their 4-song EP, Mother Ruffer, and a weekend tour opening for Craig's Brother and Five Iron Frenzy.

In 2025, The Ruffolos have already delivered two sold-out shows: Ska Smackdown at Garden Amp alongside Voodoo Glow Skulls, Mustard Plug, and Buck-O-Nine, and a headlining performance at The Paramount LA for an Evoekore event.

Beyond their music, The Ruffolos are proud advocates for mental health awareness, frequently donating their time to benefit concerts and nonprofit events. They’ve also been featured on well-respected ska and alternative music podcasts such as Bradley’s House and On The Upbeat Podcast.

You can follow The Ruffolos on all social platforms @ruffolosoldiers and stream their music on all major streaming services. With new singles set for release throughout the year, The Ruffolos are poised to bring their unmistakable sound to even bigger stages in the near future.

It's impossible to not enjoy yourself while listening to the Ruffolos, and their music is constantly improving.
