The Ruffolos are an explosive eight-piece band from Southern California, known for fusing ska, punk, reggae, psychedelic rock, hip hop, and raw rock ‘n’ roll into a high-energy sound that defies genre boundaries. Hailing from Pico Rivera with roots stretching across Whittier, Montebello, Long Beach, Pomona, and Orange County, The Ruffolos are a true melting pot of cultures and influences. Their music reflects the grit of the streets, the soul of the beach, and the power of a DIY spirit.

Formed in 2017 as a three-piece, The Ruffolos cut their teeth in dive bars and small clubs before bursting onto larger stages and festival lineups. Their breakthrough came with the 2020 release of their debut album Immersing in the Aftertaste of Special Yesterday, featuring the fan-favorite anthem “Special Yesterday.” The band has since grown into a full-scale live unit—featuring vocals, guitar, bass, drums, keys, saxophone, trumpet, and trombone—and built a reputation for unforgettable performances and an inclusive, electric atmosphere.

The Ruffolos have sold out top Southern California venues including The Glass House, The Garden Amp, and The Paramount LA, and have played iconic spots like House of Blues (Anaheim & San Diego), The Observatory OC, Sealegs at the Beach, Catch One LA, and more. Their grassroots hustle has earned them opening slots for genre legends including Save Ferris, The Expanders, The Aggrolites, Suburban Legends, Five Iron Frenzy, and Perro Bravo, while also earning them loyal fans across the country and abroad.

With multiple singles, three EPs, and a critically praised live album (Live at Transplants), which reached #4 on the iTunes Reggae Albums Chart, The Ruffolos continue to push forward with their latest release, Mother Ruffer. Their sound has been hailed as the bridge between the East LA and Orange County ska/punk scenes—a distinction that speaks to both their authenticity and wide-reaching appeal.
